This is your front row pass to the world’s most intriguing storytellers, as powered by you.
🎙️ This week on The Storymakers Institute podcast, I’m coming to you fresh from the Dunkeld Writers Festival on the lands of the Djab Wurrung and Gunditjmara people.
In this episode, we’re pulling back the curtain on biography, imagination and memoir, and the highs and lows of writing about people. Joining me live on stage is the Australian actor and writer, Louise Le Nay, and multi-award-winning writer and critic, Sarah Krasnostein.
Sarah Krasnostein is the best-selling author of The Trauma Cleaner (2017), The Believer (2021/22), Not Waving, Drowning (2022) and On Peter Carey (2023). The Believer was named by The New Yorker as a Best Book of 2022.
Louise Le Nay studied dramatic art at NIDA and has worked as an actor in films, TV and theatre, and as a TV writer and script editor. She’s also taught professional writing and editing. Her latest novel, Edenhope, published by Text, was released in June 2024.
